Early in the morning, we leave Mexico City, and we’re going to journey through the colonial cities of Mexico. First, we visit the amazing city of Cuernavaca, which is also called the “city of eternal spring” because the climate in this place is very soft and the temperature all year ranges from 18 to 22 ˚C degrees. The original name of the city is Cuauhnahuac, which means “where there are large trees.” We will walk through the spring streets of this picturesque town, take a look at the Aztec pyramid of Teopanzolco, where we find the ruins of two cathedrals, observe colonial buildings, churches and cathedrals, and also we will visit the Palace of Cortes, built by the Spanish conquerors for famous Indian sweetheart of the Spaniard, Marina Malinal.
After we go to “silver city” of Taxco, which is considered to be the capital of Mexican silver, because in the best masters still live, and there are over 3000 shops that sell silver handmade products. Yet Taxco is called the “Magic city” due to colonial houses, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the reputation of the city of silver masters. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this magic city.
